The BC Agri-Food Industry Gala is BC Agriculture Council’s premier networking event, bringing together farmers, ranchers, industry leaders, government officials, and stakeholders to celebrate the strength and resilience of British Columbia’s agriculture and food sector.

The 2024 BC Agri-Food Industry Gala, held on January 24, 2024, gathered over 400 guests, including government officials, industry stakeholders, farmers, and ranchers. The event featured speeches from prominent figures:

  • the Honourable David Eby, Premier of British Columbia
  • the Honourable Pam Alexis, Minister of Agriculture & Food
  • the Honourable Lawrence MacAulay, Minister of Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada
  • Jennifer Woike, BCAC President
  • MLA Kevin Falcon, Leader of the Official Opposition
  • Keith Currie, President of the Canadian Federation of Agriculture

The program included an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding contributions within the agricultural sector. The BC Agriculture Council extended thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the event and anticipates another successful gala next year.
