BC Agriculture Council’s virtual Gala will air March 30th at BCAC.CA

Abbotsford, B.C. – March 16, 2022: For the second time in 20 years, the BC Agri-Food Industry Gala will take a virtual format as farmers, ranchers, and supporters from across the province tune in to celebrate the agriculture sector in British Columbia. BC Agriculture Council’s (BCAC) virtual Gala will air on March 30, 2022, at 6:00 P.M.

The virtual Gala will feature messages from the Honourable Lana Popham, Minster of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries as well as from BCAC President Stan Vander Waal. The evening will also include an awards presentation, recognizing three British Columbians who have made significant contributions in terms of advocacy, leadership, and growing understanding of agriculture in B.C.

The virtual Gala will include an online silent auction which opens for bidding on March 20, 2022 and closes on April 3, 2022. The auction is historically held at BCAC’s annual gala and proceeds will support BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation.
